May 31st -We actually flew to Dallas, Phoenix and finally into Anchorage, but could not find a map to display that. |

For the next 6 weeks we traveled through a small portion of the huge state of Alaska. |

After being back at home for 2 1/2 weeks, we left Aug 4,2016 and headed north. After a lovely 10 days in the Boston area visiting family, we finally arrived at our most north-easterly point - Bar Harbor, Maine on August 31st. |

Heading south again September 9th, we arrived in North Carolina for a family wedding September 23rd. After leaving North Carolina, we traveled west to Mammoth Caves. A few days later we realized we had enough vacation for the time being, and drove south, toward home, arriving October 11th, 2016 |
